Costain (West Africa) originated in Nigeria in 1948 and became a public liability company in the mid 1970s. Over the last 60 years, we have successfully established our reputation in the region with a task record of significant and prestigious projects.
In March this year Costain (U.K) sold its shares in Costain (West Africa) Plc to Shoreline Energy International. With the sale, Shoreline Energy International acquired a controlling stake in Costain(West Africa) Plc. A technical support agreement is in place to ensure that Costain (U.K) will provide support for Costain (West Africa) Plc when it is needed.
Our Capacity
Costain ( West Africa) offers a full capacity in civil engineering and building construction works. We have worked on a variety of different projects in recent years including water treatment plants, residential complexes, commercial buildings as well as various infrastructure projects. We are keen to continue and develop this aspect of our business. Our goal is to continually develop our skills so as to deliver excellent construction services to our clients. Costain has worked hard to establish its reputation for completing projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standard.
